Blueprints and task packs

You run the same sequence on every new listing and every escrow — the same tasks, the same documents, the same reminders, offset from the same dates. A blueprint is that sequence saved once, so applying it to a deal takes one click instead of twenty.

Where they live

Settings → Workspace → Blueprints lists your workspace's blueprints; New blueprint opens the editor. Blueprints belong to the workspace, so the whole team runs the same play.

What's in a blueprint

A blueprint targets a deal type (buyer or seller) and a stage — or all stages at once. Its items are checklist tasks and required documents, and each item carries the scheduling logic that makes the template useful:

• Relative due dates — N days from the stage starting, from the deal being created, or from the contract date.
• Activation — items can arm when the stage begins, when the deal is created, or only when triggered manually.
• A default assignee — agent, transaction coordinator, lender, or owner.
• Reminder items — email or SMS touchpoints with a saved message template, variables filled in per deal.

Mark a blueprint Apply by default to surface it first on matching deals, or Optional add-on for situational sequences (a well inspection, an HOA package).

Task packs

A task pack (Settings → Workspace → Task Packs) is a reusable bundle of tasks, documents, and reminders — a building block rather than a full workflow. In the blueprint editor, Insert task pack drops a whole pack into a blueprint at the stage you choose. Keep the common fragments (say, a lender-coordination set) as packs, and compose blueprints from them.

Applying to a deal

On a deal, the Checklist panel has a Blueprints section listing what's available, grouped into default and optional. Hit Apply and the blueprint's items land on the deal's checklist, grouped by stage with due dates computed from the deal's own dates. Items for future stages wait until that stage begins.

Undoing

Applied the wrong optional blueprint? Remove deletes that blueprint's items from the deal — anything you added manually stays put. Editing or archiving a blueprint in Settings never touches deals that already applied it, so refining the template is always safe.
