Your first 15 minutes in Northpoint

Sign up, create a workspace, import your contacts, and run your first day.

1. Create your workspace

Head to the signup page, choose a workspace name (your brokerage, your team, or just your own name), and confirm your email. Your workspace is yours — you're the owner, with full access to everything in it.

You can create additional workspaces later (e.g. one for a side project or a different team) and switch between them from the sidebar.

2. Bring your sphere in

Open Contacts and use the Import button to upload a CSV. The importer maps your columns to Northpoint's fields automatically and lets you adjust anything that didn't guess right. Existing contacts are deduped against email and phone — you can't accidentally double-up your past clients.

Don't have a CSV handy? Add a couple of contacts manually to test the flow. You can always import more later.

3. Start a deal

From Deals, hit + New deal. Pick the buyer or seller you just added, give it a stage (Intake to start), and you're live. The deal carries its own documents, milestones, parties, and tasks — it's the file you'll keep coming back to as the transaction moves.

4. Invite your team (optional)

If you're working solo, skip this. Otherwise, head to Settings → Members and invite by email. Pick a role:

  • Agent — co-equal access; sees the same data you see.
  • Assistant — transaction coordinator role; scoped to the agents they support.
  • Collaborator — external partners (TCs from other brokerages, attorneys); see only what you share with them.

5. Open Today tomorrow morning

That's the loop. Each morning, open Today and let it tell you what's at risk. The product earns its keep by reducing your morning planning to thirty seconds.
