Tasks
Private, contact, and deal tasks — and how due dates feed the Today queue.
Tasks is the workspace-wide list of everything you've committed to do — one-off reminders, follow-ups on a person, and execution work on a deal — with the filters to see exactly the slice you need.
Three tabs
The page splits by what a task is attached to: Private (no links — yours alone), Contact (linked to a person), and Deal (linked to a transaction). Each tab shows a red badge with its overdue count, so you can see where the fires are before clicking.
Creating a task
Hit New task: a title, optional notes, a due date (with an optional time), and a priority — High, Medium, or Low (Medium by default). Link a contact or a deal from the same form and the task files itself onto the right tab and shows up on that record.
How tasks reach Today
Overdue and due-today tasks flow into the Today screen's queue automatically, ordered by urgency: overdue work first, then approaching deal deadlines, then what's due today — sorted by due time within each group. It's the due date that gets a task into the queue and positions it, so date the work honestly. More in The Today screen.
Snooze, complete, reopen
Done completes a task; click again to reopen it if you were hasty. Snooze opens a date picker, and the row's menu has the two presets that cover most cases — Tomorrow and Next week (both land at 9:00 a.m.). On the Today screen, snooze is simpler still: one tap pushes the task a day. Deleted tasks go to the trash and can be restored from Settings → Data → Trash.
Filters
The four tiles above the list — Open, Due today, Overdue, Completed — double as one-click filters. The Filter panel goes finer: status (open / completed / all), priority, due window (overdue / today / upcoming / no due date), and a text search over titles and notes.
Deal checklists are their own thing
The structured execution work on a deal — the stage-by-stage checklist that blueprints generate — lives on the deal itself, alongside any tasks you link here. If you run the same sequence on every listing or escrow, save it once as a blueprint: Blueprints and task packs.
